We go to the library all the time! M loves to read books. Here are some we've come across that I think are great or he absolutely loves!
Imaginative Books
-Snowmen at Night Caralyn Buehner, Mark Buehner (Illustrator)
- This book goes behind the scenes to see what snowmen do at night when we are sleeping. From skating to baseball to sledding, this book encourages the imagination and thinking beyond the box.
-Meow and the Little Chairs Sebastien Braun
-All the "Meow" books feature the cat, Meow, and his friends using common household items to stretch their imaginations. This book shows how a few chairs and a few other items can become a train. M reads this book and immediately wants to go make a train with our chairs!
Good boy (and girl) books
-Down by the Station Jennifer Riggs Vetter, Frank Remkiewicz (Illustrator)
- This book takes the well-known song and expands it beyond just a train. We see buses, fire engines, excavators, sail boats, race cars, etc. all put into the song's melody. Kids who love transportation, love this book!
